HomeMy WebLinkAbout20082406.tiff RESOLUTION RE: ACTION OF THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS REGARDING VIOLATION ZCV #0800104 AGAINST MILLER-TAYLOR FARM, LLC, CIO BECKY WEINKAUF, RELIABLE FIELD SERVICE, INC., C/O HANNAH TIRZAH MILLER, MILLER FAMILY INVESTMENTS, LLC, C/O MINDY MILLER, AND MILLER OILFIELD SERVICES, LLC, C/O KAREN MILLER FOR VIOLATION OF THE WELD COUNTY CODE WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and WHEREAS,Miller-Taylor Farm, LLC,do Becky Weinkauf, Reliable Field Services, Inc.,do Hannah Tirzah Miller, Miller Family Investments, LLC,do Mindy Miller, and Miller Oilfield Services, LLC, c/o Karen Miller, ZCV#0800104, are allegedly in violation of the Weld County Code, and WHEREAS, despite efforts by the Planning staff to resolve said matter, the violation has not been corrected, and WHEREAS,on the 9th day of September,2008,a public hearing was held before the Board of County Commissioners for the purpose of hearing testimony relating to said violation, and WHEREAS, Miller-Taylor Farm, LLC,c/o Becky Weinkauf, Reliable Field Services, Inc.,c/o Hannah Tirzah Miller, Miller Family Investments, LLC, c/o Mindy Miller, and Miller Oilfield Services, LLC, c/o Karen Miller, property owners,and Sheri Lockman and Cody Armsworth, representatives, were present at said hearing, and WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners deems it advisable to continue said violation until March 10, 2009, to allow adequate time for the businesses to submit, and have approved or denied, Use by Special Review applications for the new site, and for staff to check on this progress every two (2) months to insure the property owners are working to get said property into compliance, and to issue a building permit to correct the safety hazard for the office/house at 10614 Hwy 66, Platteville, Colorado. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that ZCV#0800104 be, and hereby is, continued until, March 10, 2009, to allow adequate time for the businesses to submit and have approved or denied, Use by Special Review applications for the new site, and for staff to check on this progress every two(2) months to insure the property owners are working to get said property into compliance,and to issue a building permit to correct the safety hazard for the office/house at 10614 Hwy 66, Platteville, Colorado, to bring the subject property into compliance. 2008-2406 PL0824 /o - 03-OM VIOLATIONS - ZCV#0800104 - MILLER-TAYLOR FARM, LLC, C/O BECKY WEINKAUF, RELIABLE FIELD SERVICE, INC., C/O HANNAH TIRZAH MILLER, MILLER FAMILY INVESTMENTS, LLC, C/O MINDY MILLER, AND MILLER OILFIELD SERVICES, LLC, C/O KAREN MILLER PAGE 2 The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 9th day of September, A.D., 2008.
