WELD COUNTY COUNCIL
February 6, 2008- Special Meeting

The Weld County Council held a special meeting, Wednesday, February 6, 2008,
6:00p.m., at the Weld County Centennial Center, 915 10th Street, Greeley, CO.
ROLL CALL: The meeting was called to order by President Ginny Buczek. Councilman
John Kivimaki, Councilman Gene Stille and Councilwoman Nancy Teksten were present,
constituting a quorum of the members. Also present was Karla Ford, council secretary.
NEW BUSINESS: The following individuals were interviewed to fill the At-Large
vacancy left by Tom Pettit: Lucile Arnusch, Don Mueller, Gary McCabe, Thomas Mario,
Ken Cure, Perry Buck, Bruce Fitzgerald, John Cordova and Judy Yamaguchi.
After much.discussion on the qualifications of applicants, Council President Buczek
relinquished her seat and made a motion to appoint Don Mueller to fill the At-Large seat
for the remainder of the current term. The motion was seconded by Councilwoman
Teksten passed.
ADJOURNMENT: By acclamation the meeting was adjourned at 9:50 p.m.
