SUBJECT: 2008 "V" Plow Bid, B0800105
The Public Works Department recommends the low bid from Power Equipment and the second low
bid from MacDonald Equipment be rejected and the bid awarded to the third low bidder, Colorado
Machinery.
Bid approval is contingent on visual inspection of the "V" plows. We have inspected the Ryland
and Heneke"V"plows and prefer the design of the Heneke. We recommend that we purchase three
"V"plows at a cost of$6,695 each for a grade total of$20,085 from Colorado Machinery.
