RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENTS TO 911 EMERGENCY TELEPHONE SERVICE AUTHORITY
BOARD
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, vacancies currently exist on the 911 Emergency Telephone Service Authority
Board, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that David Montgomery be reappointed to said
board as the law enforcement county appointee, and
WHEREAS,it has been recommended that Gary Sandau be appointed as the fire protection
county appointee, to replace Clint Heidenreich, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to reappoint David Montgomery to said board,
with a term to expire January 12, 2010, and to appoint Gary Sandau to said board, with a term to
expire January 13, 2009.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that David Montgomery be, and hereby is, reappointed, and that Gary Sandau
be,and hereby is,appointed to the 911 Emergency Telephone Service Authority Board,with terms
to expire January 12, 2010, and January 13, 2009, respectively.
The above and foregoing Resolution was,on motion duly made and seconded,adopted by
the following vote on the 23rd day of January, A.D., 2008.
