The customers drop their trailers off at a location of their choosing, before bring the truck to us for repair, thus making our requirements for parking and driveway space much smaller. Our goal is to provide quality work and service, first and foremost. We want to put the trucks on the road where they belong as soon as possible so our customers can continue to serve the community. Explain how this proposal is consistent with the intent of the Weld County Code,Chapter 22. We are a small repair shop that serves the surrounding community. We repair and service trucks and agricultural equipment, and most of our customers are within 5 miles of us. Nearly all of our customers are involved in agriculture, as the trucks haul crops,soil, and other related products. Explain how this proposal is consistent with the intent of the Weld County Code,Chapter 23(Zoning)and the zone district in which it is located. Our business supports the theme of the code by integrating nicely as both a community member, supporter,and supplier. Our business directly helps the surrounding area by providing a much needed service that is easily and quickly accessed. We are also good neighbors,and have long standing relationships with both nearby landowners as well as other local businesses. • What types of uses surround the site? Explain how the proposed use is consistent and compatible with surrounding land uses. The main uses surrounding the site are farming/agricultural. Two large farming fields border us on 3 sides. Our business directly supports the farming community by offering repair services for their equipment. Describe, in detail,the following: How many people will use this site? 4 How many employees are proposed to be employed at this site? 4 What are the hours of operation? 7am to 6pm M-F, Saturdays by appointment What type and how many structures will be erected on this site? No new structures will be erected. Currently there is a 5lYxt30'shop and a small office being used by the business. The house is a separate operation. Trash disposal is on a large area in-between the bay doors, easily rcaqsible. Security lighting is located on both the office and the main building. Electric Fencing separates the property to the east, and fencing separates the north boundary. What type and how many animals,if any,will be on this site? None • • What kind(type,size,weight)of vehicles will access this site and how often? Primarily heavy duty trucks: 18,000 pound Semi Tractors, 30 feet in length. 4 per day. Occasionally medium duty bucks, 10,000 pounds in weight and 15-20 feet long will come in for service as well, perhaps 3 a week. Ample parking is provided. No additional landscaping is being proposed. Currently large trees block much of the west side of the property from view of the road.
