RE: SCHEDULING OF REGULAR MEETINGS OF THE BOARD FOR 2008
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, Section 3-11(1)of the Weld County Home Rule Charter provides that regular
Board meetings shall be held at least twice weekly on days to be determined by the Board of
County Commissioners, and
WHEREAS, the Board has determined that regular meetings of the Board of County
Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, shall be held on each Monday and Wednesday of the
year 2008, commencing at the hour of 9:00 a.m., in the Chambers of the Board of County
Commissioners, First Floor, Weld County Centennial Center, 915 10th Street, Greeley, Colorado,
and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 3-11(1)of the Weld County Home Rule Charter,a meeting
may be canceled by a resolution passed by the Board and publicly announced at least ten days
prior to the meeting date; however, in the event that a legal holiday should fall on Monday or
Wednesday during the calendar year of 2008, there shall be no need to declare a cancellation of
said meeting.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that the schedule of two weekly Board meetings, on Monday and Wednesday
of each week during 2008, to commence at 9:00 a.m., in the Chambers of the Board of County
Commissioners, First Floor, Weld County Centennial Center, 915 10th Street, Greeley, Colorado,
shall be in full force and effect throughout the calendar year 2008.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that a meeting may be canceled by a resolution
passed by the Board and publicly announced at least ten days prior to the meeting date; however,
should a legal holiday fall on a Monday or Wednesday during 2008, it shall not be necessary to
declare a cancellation of said meeting.

The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted by
the following vote on the 2nd day of January,A.D., 2008.
