RE: UNCLAIMED MONIES FROM THE SALE OF A MOBILE HOME.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado,
pursuant to Colorado Statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested
with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Weld County Treasurer and Director of Finance and Adminis-
tration have advised the Board that there are unclaimed monies in the amount
of TWO THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED SEVENTY-EIGHT DOLLARS AND FIVE CENTS ($2,578.05)
being held by the Treasurer from the proceeds from the sale of a mobile home
in 1978, and
WHEREAS, no claim for the money has been made by the former owner or any
other party for the unclaimed monies from the proceeds of the sale of the
mobile home, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, on
June 9, 1980, adopted a policy and resolution concerning the disposition and
claiming of unclaimed monies and the honoring of future claims, and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance and Administration and County Treasurer
recommend that the unclaimed monies in the amount of TWO THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED
SEVENTY-EIGHT DOLLARS AND FIVE CENTS ($2,578.05) be transferred to the General
Fund in accordance with the policy adopted by the Board on June 9, 1980.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that the Director of Finance and Administration and
County Treasurer are hereby authorized to make the appropriate transfer of
unclaimed monies from the sale of a mobile home in 1978 to the General Fund
in the amount of TWO THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED SEVENTY-EIGHT DOLLARS AND FIVE
CENTS ($2,578.05) and to make the necessary accounting transactions to accom-
plish the above, as soon as is appropriate.
The above and foregoing resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded,
adopted by the following vote on the 15th day of December, A.D. , 1980.
