Sandy Knolls Boulevard exits west off of Weld County Road 53 on the south side of Kersey just south of Weld County Road 54$. It goes approximately one half mile to the west and dead ends. There are homes on either side all the way down to the end. I do not believe we can justify such a low speed limit. I would recommend that the Board approve a 35 mile per hour speed limit on this road, as adequate to control the traffic, as well as address the question of public safety. It is requested that this be placed on the agenda as soon as possible with a resolution for 35 mile per hour speed limit. Because the street is entirely residential with a dead end , the advisability of present higher speed traffic is questionable.
