RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENT OF ERIC WHITWOOD TO WELD COUNTY BOARD OF
PUBLIC HEALTH
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, a vacancy currently exists on the Weld County Board of Public Health, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Eric Whitwood be appointed to said board as
the District 1 representative, to replace Stan Cass, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to appoint Eric Whitwood to said board, with a
term to expire May 23, 2010.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that Eric Whitwood be, and hereby is, appointed to the Weld County Board of
Public Health, with a term to expire May 23, 2010.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted by
the following vote on the 22nd day of October, A.D., 2008.
