RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENT AND REAPPOINTMENTS TO NOXIOUS WEED
MANAGEMENT ADVISORY BOARD
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS,vacancies currently exist on the Noxious Weed Management Advisory Board,
and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Rene White be appointed to said board, to
replace Shirley Soto, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Bud Clemons and Chuck Birkemeyer be
reappointed to said board,
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to appoint Rene White, and to reappoint Bud
Clemons and Chuck Birkemeyer, to said board, all with terms to expire August 19, 2011.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that Rene White be, and hereby is, appointed to the Noxious Weed
Management Advisory Board, and that Bud Clemons and Chuck Birkemeyer be, and hereby are,
reappointed to said board, all with terms to expire August 19, 2011.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted by
the following vote on the 27th day of August, A.D., 2008.
