RE: EXPRESSION OF THANKS TO LARIMER COUNTY
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, Larimer County has transferred $1,000,000.00 in Temporary Assistance for
Needy Families funds to Weld County, for the benefit of its citizens in need of immediate or
significant resources, and
WHEREAS, said transfer of funds signifies a noteworthy level of cooperation and support
of Larimer County to assist Weld County in providing timely and appropriate resources for Weld
County citizens in crisis and in need, and
WHEREAS,the Board wishes to express its thanks to Larimer County for its desire to assist
another county, as a good neighbor.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that the Board hereby expresses thanks to Larimer County for its transfer of
funds to Weld County, and its willingness to partner in times of crisis to aid Weld County and its
citizens.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted by
the following vote on the 16th day of June, A.D., 2008.

The Colorado Works Allocation Committee has approved the transfer of$1,000,000.00 of
Larimer County's SFY2008 TANF allocation to Weld County. Larimer County has agreed to take
responsibility for the corresponding MOE. I request CDHS complete this transaction as soon as
