RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENTS AND REAPPOINTMENTS TO FAIR BOARD
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, vacancies currently exist on the Fair Board, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Hollee Hayes be appointed to said board, to
replace Scott Pruett; that Marcus Embry be appointed to said board, to replace Mary Ann Cothren;
that LeAnn Reid be appointed to said board, to replace Matt Butler; that Donald Johnston be
appointed to said board,to replace George Gray;that Thomas Bledsoe be appointed to said board,
to replace Judy Stevens, and that Jenifer Blandin be appointed to said board, to replace Katie
Samples as the 4-H Youth Executive Council representative, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Dale McCall and Justin Sidwell be reappointed
to said board.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that Dale McCall and Justin Sidwell be, and hereby are, reappointed to the Fair
Board, with terms to expire September 30, 2011.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, that Hollee Hayes be, and hereby is, appointed to the Fair Board, with a term to expire
September 30, 2010, that Marcus Embry, LeAnn Reid, Donald Johnston, and Thomas Bledsoe,
be, and hereby are, appointed to the Fair Board,with terms to expire September 30,2011,and that
Jenifer Blandin be, and hereby is, appointed to the Fair Board,with a term to expire September 30,
2009.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted by
the following vote on the 6th day of October, A.D., 2008.
