RE: ACTION OF THE BOARD CONCERNING AMENDMENT TO BYLAWS FOR WELD
COUNTY REGIONAL COMMUNICATIONS ADVISORY BOARD
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, by Resolution dated May 2, 1977, the Board ratified the Bylaws for the Weld
County Regional Communications Advisory Board, and
WHEREAS, the Board was presented with an Amendment to said Bylaws for the Weld
County Regional Communications Advisory Board on March 26, 2008, and
WHEREAS, after review, the Board deemed it advisable to continue said matter to
April 2, 2008, in order to allow time to investigate the State and Federal regulations concerning the
minimum number of law enforcement representatives required to be on the Weld County
Communications Advisory Board, and
WHEREAS, after review, the Board deemed it advisable to continue said matter to
May 7, 2008, in order to allow the Weld County Regional Communications Advisory Board time to
review and modify the proposed amendment, and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that the proposed Amendment to the Bylaws for the Weld County Regional
Communications Advisory Board be, and hereby is, continued to May 7, 2008.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted by
the following vote on the 2nd day of April, A.D., 2008.
