RE: APPROVAL OF CORRECTION OF DESCRIPTION OF URANIUM MINING LEASE -
POWER RESOURCES CORPORATION

C'- WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
c Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the

affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
o WHEREAS, Power Resources Corporation has requested that the

c` Board of County Conuuissioners execute a Correction of Description

of Uranium Mining Lease which corrects an incorrect legal descrip-

tion on a uranium lease, and
-4 WHEREAS, the correct legal description is the Southwest
Quarter of Section 20, Township 10 North, Range 60 West, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners deems it advisable
to execute said document.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Com-
missioners of Weld County, Colorado that said Board shall execute
the Correction of Description of Uranium Mining Lease of Power
Resources Corporation which corrects an incorrect legal descrip-
tion.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 9th day of
June, A.D. , 1980 .

THE STATE OF COLORADO
COUNTY OF WELD
WHEREAS, under date of September 30th, 1977, the COUNTY of Weld,
Colorado, political subdivision of the State of Colorado, by and through its Board
of County Commissioners, Weld County Centennial Center, 915 10th Street, Greeley,
Colorado 80631, as Lessor, did execute and deliver to Power Resources Corporation,
as Lessee, a Uranium Mining Lease recorded in Book 810, Rec. No. 1732397, of the
Weld County Records, covering the following described land in Weld County, Colorado,
to-wit:
Township 9 North, Range 59 West Township 10 North, Range 61 West
Section 5: NEk Section 7: Lot 4
Section 8: NWkNEk Section 11: EIJI
Section 12: ANN)*
Township 9 North, Range 61 West Section 25: 5kN' , SW' , SW' SE'x
Section 6: E4SW1/4, Lot 7
Township 10 North, Range 60 West
Section 20: SEA -
Section 27: .Nil
Section 33: S'.SW1/4
Containing 1,687.45 acres
said land being more fully described in said Lease, reference to which said Lease
and to the record thereof being here made for all purposes; and
WHEREAS, said Lease and all rights and privileges thereunder are now owned
by Power Resources Corporation; and
WHEREAS, an error was made in describing the lands covered by the said Uranium
Mining Lease, and the parties thereto are now desirous of correcting said error.
NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the premises and for the purpose of correct-
ing the said lease description, all the parties hereto do hereby stipulate and agree
that the aforsaid lease is hereby amended to embrace the following described land;
to-wit:
Township 9 North, Range 59 West
Section 5 : NESS
Section 8: NW}NEk
Township 9 North, Range 61 West
Section 6: EkSW1/4, Lot 7
Township 10 North, Range 61 West
Section 7: Lot 4
Section 11: Ef

Section 27: Nil

Containing 1,687.45 acres
In lieu of the lands originally described therein and for the same consider-
ation, the undersigned do hereby ADOPT, RATIFY and CONFIRM the same lease as amended
and corrected herein. And except as hereby amended, the aforesaid Uranium Mining
Lease shall remain in full force and effect as originally written and is binding on
each of us as a valid and subsisting Uranium Mining Lease.

Re: Uranium Mining Lease #5 dated Sepetmber 30, 1977,
between Weld County and Power Resources Corporation
Gentlemen:
An examination of instruments of title affecting lands covered by
the above referenced lease has revealed that, of record, Weld County
has no interest in the minerals underlying the SEA of Section 20,
Township 10 North, Range 60 West as is indicated on the lease. The
County's mineral interest is, rather, in the SW; of the same section.
In order to rectify this error I have enclosed, in duplicate, a
Correction of Description of Uranium Mining Lease. I ask that this
instrument be executed and placed of record. To cover recording costs,
a check in the amount of $4.00 is also enclosed.
Please return the recorded original to Powerco subsequent to recording.
The other copy may be retained for your records.
Should you have any questions or problems with regard to the foregoing,
please do not hesitate to contact me.
