RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENTS TO BOARD OF PUBLIC HEALTH
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, vacancies currently exist on the Board of Public Health, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Keith Laube be appointed as the District 2
representative, to replace Stan Cass; that Cameron Cowan be appointed as the District 4
representative, to replace Anne Salazar; that Doug Printz be reappointed as the District 5
representative; and that Barbara Murphy be reappointed as an At-Large representative, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to appoint Keith Laube as the District 2
representative, and Cameron Cowan as the District 4 representative; and to reappoint Doug Printz
as the District 5 representative, and Barbara Murphy as the At-Large representative, all with terms
to expire May 23, 2011.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that Keith Laube and Cameron Cowan be appointed, and that Doug Printz and
Barbara Murphy be reappointed to the Board of Public Health, all with terms to expire
May 23, 2011.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted by
the following vote on the 23rd day of June, A.D., 2008.
