We are their neighbors directly south of them and just wanted to let someone know that we don't have a problem with anything in their operations. When we moved out here they already had the business in their yard and we moved here anyway. It did not detour us from doing that. At that time we actually felt that it was a plus and that no one would be giving us a hard time about anything that we might want to do at our place in the future. In fact since that time my brother and sister-n-law have bought the property on the north side of them. They do try to keep there place looking nice and are very considerate of the neighbors as far as the time of day that they have any equipment running and stuff Sincerely Rick Schaeffer • Tammie Schaeffer EXHIBIT too 2008-3038 Robert and Sharon Clark • 39750 W. C. Rd. 68 Briggsdale, Co. 80611 November 4, 2008 Notice to DEPARTMENT OF PLANNING SERVICES In Regards to CASE NUMBER: USR-1659 NAME: DeRoy& Cathy Turley We have no objections to what our neighbors do on their land. We do have objections with what Weld County tries to control on property owned by hard working middle class people. This county can't even keep employers from hiring illegal aliens. Yet you try and interfere with those of us that are here legally. We are just trying to provide for our families. Whether or not it is a business or a second family dwelling. If we own the land, pay our taxes, vote for our commissioners, and live peacefully with our neighbors. What right do you as county officials have that you can tell us what we can do and where we can do it. We live in a free country. If we are law-abiding citizens you should be putting • laws in place to protect us NOT CONTROL US. When you broke this property up and allowed it to be sold to us it was zoned Agricultural. Yet 40 acre's is not enough to make a living with neither livestock and/or crops. It appears to me that my county has let all of us in rural Colorado down. We pay huge electrical and propane bills. We have dirt roads and can't even get the local paper delivered. We can't even get descent home insurance because we are over 14 miles from the nearest fire station. WHAT DOES OUR COUNTY DO FOR US? Yours truly, Robert and Sharon Clark EXHIBIT Hello
