RE: DECLARE CERTAIN EQUIPMENT AS SURPLUS PROPERTY,AND AUTHORIZE SALE
OF SAME TO CENTER FOR FAMILY JUSTICE AND EQUITY
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, State statute and the Weld County Code require that all items disposed of be
declared surplus by the Board of County Commissioners, and
WHEREAS,the County has determined that certain equipment, described as a Risograph
Duplicator, Serial#99455571, Model#GR 3750, being more fully described in said proposal which
is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, is no longer required for County use, and
WHEREAS, the Board has been presented with a proposal from the Center for Family
Justice and Equity, Attn:Allison Andrew, Director of Operations, P.O. Box 8289, Denver, Colorado
80201, to buy said equipment for, and in consideration of, the sum of$125.00, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to declare said equipment as surplus and
approve said purchase proposal.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that the abovementioned equipment be, and hereby is, declared surplus.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the proposal to purchase said equipment
from the Center for Family Justice and Equity, in the amount of $125.00, be, and hereby is,
approved.

The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted by

Please give me as much information you have on the risograph. Model number, if we would
know number of copies, last time it worked ect.
I will then proceed with the process to get the machine taken care of.

Dear Barb:
We are interested in the used Risograph that is currently at Weld County Social Services.The
serviceability is questionable as Tony Groeger and my husband Christian tested the unit yesterday and it
does not produce prints.
We understand that Bratton's would charge a salvage fee for the machine due to its high use
and current condition.We have a Riso repairman and can either get the machine working or we can use
it for parts; therefore we are willing to pay$125.00 for the unit.
The machine would also be going to a good cause; we are a Colorado Non-Profit Corporation.
We look forward to hearing back from you as soon as is convenient.
