RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENT OF WAYNE HOWARD AND DAVID BAUER, AS COUNTY
ENGINEERS
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS,The Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado,has accepted
the resignation of Drew Scheltinga as County Engineer, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to appoint Wayne Howard, as County Engineer
for Engineering Design, Project Management and Surveyor, effective March 26, 2008 and
WHEREAS,the Board deems it advisable to appoint David Bauer, as County Engineer for
Development, effective March 26, 2008.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that Wayne Howard, be, and hereby is, appointed as County Engineer for
Engineering Design, Project Management and Surveyor, and David Bauer, be and hereby is,
appointed as County Engineer for Development, both being effective March 26, 2008, and
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted by
the following vote on the 2nd day of April, A.D., 2008, nunc pro tunc March 26, 2008.
