Dear Mr. McCormick,
Petroleum Development Corporation, a Nevada corporation, ("PDC")has oil and
gas interests in the above-captioned lands (the "Property"). The purpose of this letter is
• to inform you of the mineral property rights of PDC.
Under PDC's oil and gas leases (the "Lease") covering the Property, PDC has the
right to conduct oil and gas operations in and around existing well site locations.
Furthermore, PDC has the right to locate additional drillsites on the Property for future
oil and gas development.
PDC is willing to work with the developer to complete a surface use agreement
that adequately accommodates the oil and gas leasehold rights of PDC. We request that
you include this notice letter with your file on the above-captioned matter and that this
letter be provided to the Weld County Department of Planning Services for purposes of
its hearing February 5, 2008.
