Karen,
The Weld County Department of Public Works and the Department of Planning
Inspection conducted a site inspection on the property today and noted that all the
improvements are done except one curb stop in front of the product assembly area.
Once a curb stop has been installed and the changes have been made to the plat and
a mylar submitted to the Department of Planning with $11.00 (recording fee) it will be
ready to record. Please let me know if you have any questions.

In regards to section 23-3-250.A.5.A, we are letting you know that we have a 6' tall
screened chain link fence enclosing the parking areas and storage areas.
For our weed management plan, we intend to not let any weeds get taller than 12"
high. We mow and cut down the weeds with a"weed-eater" weekly or as needed.
We will also use a weed control substance such as "Round-Up" as needed.
We are not planning any construction, so we will not need to do any reseeding plans.

Per resolutions:
A. 1-6 Plat is to be amended per requirements noted in resolutions.
7. There are no signs to note on plat.
8. There is a 6' tall chain link fence with screening.
B. Not applicable.
C. There are no concerns with the EMS and Fire Dept. since we do meet their
requirements.
D. Dust abatement plan: In case of dust problems we can hire a water trucking
company to come out and spray as needed:

2613- they rent the water truck so we could water as needed.
E. Septic Engineer has approved our septic. See enclosed information from High
Plains Engineering.
F. Waste Handling Plan: See enclosed booklet with Hazardous Wastes Lists with
MSDS forms.
G. The sheriff's office has no concerns for us and we will contact them if we feel the
need for a security plan.
H. We are not doing any landscaping, not applicable.
I. We understand the Dept. of Building inspection requirements and have had the
"shop" inspected and stamped by an engineer. See enclosed information from BKA
Engineering..
J. We have received one letter from our mineral owners stating no problems. See
enclosed letter from Encana Oil. If we do not receive any information from the
other mineral owner(Freda June Erwin) ,we will show a drill envelope on the plat.
K. We do not and will not have any signs on the property.
L. We will apply for the building permit for a change of use for the 13'x36' shed.
We have had it inspected by the engineer. See enclosed information from BKA
Engineering.
M. We will apply for the Nonconforming structure application for the 13'x36' shed.
N. We will be having the 2 paper copies of the plat after the fence is done. Approx.
1-21-08.
2-3. Surveyor will complete.
4. We will not be needing a building or electrical permit since we are not doing any
new work on the property.

Earlier in August and Oct.2007 we sent you a letter letting you know that we are in the
process of getting a special use permit for us having our sub-contracting fence company
out of our house. We had our final hearing on Dec. 19,2007 and we were approved.
The county is requiring a letter from you stating that you have no concerns with us
getting this permit. We would appreciate it if you could send a letter in the enclosed
stamped envelope to the county within the next 15 days. We have to have everything
completed by Feb. 1, 2008. Enclosed is the letter from the county mentioning what they

Gentlemen:
Robert and Karen Lovewell (Lovewell) have informed EnCana Oil & Gas (USA) Inc. (EnCana) that
Lovewells have applied for a special review use permit for the purpose of sub-contracting a business from
their home located at 3693 WCR 6, Erie, CO 80516. Lovewells have provided EnCana with a site plan
dated 8/29/07, showing their site specific plan with an explanation of the plan and use of said property.
EnCana owns a leasehold interest under the Lovewells lands and operates two oil and gas wells in the
SE/4 of Section 22 T1N-R68W, the Cosslett 33-22 and Cosslett B Unit 2, and has the right to drill
additional wells and operate associated production facilities, install pipelines and construct additional
facilities as are necessary for such continued development of the mineral resource underlying the SE/4 of
Section 22. Lovewells property is unitized as part of the spacing unit of the SE/4 of Section 22, but said
site plan is not in conflict with the oil and gas operations of the current wells and is outside the legal
SWSE drilling window.
Per letter of request dated January 3, 2008, EnCana acknowledges that it has no objection to Lovewells
proposed use of their home for their business operation as described in the Special Use Questionnaire
dated July 2007.

RE: USR-1622 Drainage Requirements
Dear Mr. and Mrs. Lovewell;
This letter is to inform you that Weld County Public Works will not require a detention
pond or water quality capture pond at this time. If there are any changes to the current
property's impervious areas with paving, addition of new buildings, or change of use, all
applicable Weld County codes per Development Standards 12 (The operation shall
comply with all applicable rules and regulations of state and federal agencies and the
Weld County Code) and 26 (The property owner or operator shall be responsible for
complying with the Design Standards of Section 23-2-240 of the Weld County Code) that
were agreed upon and recorded in the Resolution will be enforced. Please see the Weld
County Code below.
"Sec. 23-2-240. Design standards.
An applicant for a Use by Special Review shall demonstrate compliance
with the following design standards in the application and shall continue
to meet these standards if approved for DEVELOPMENT.
5. USES shall comply with the following stormwater management
standards:
a. Stormwater detention facilities shall be provided on site which are
designed to detain the stormwater runoff from the fully developed site
from a one-hundred-year storm or as otherwise required by the
Department of Public Works.
b. The drainage facilities shall be designed to release the retained water at
a quantity and rate not to exceed the quantity and rate of a five-year storm
falling on the UNDEVELOPED site.
Sec. 24-7-130. Storm drainage design and technical criteria.
2. All stormwater detention facilities shall be designed to detain the
stormwater runoff from the fully developed site from a one-hundred-year
storm and release the detained water at a quantity and rate not to exceed
the quantity and rate of a five-year storm falling on the undeveloped site.

Hi again, hopefully you get this email this time. I am asking to have an extension on our date for usr
1622 for another 30 days from Jan. 19th due to the holidays. We lost 2 weeks since we were out of
town from the date of the hearing until Jan. 1. I have been working each day getting things going, but it
would be very helpful if we could have the extension. I have an engineer coming out Tues the 8th for the
40' radius and to look at the shop for an engineer's stamp, and I've got High Plains Engineering doing the
