RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENTS AND REAPPOINTMENTS TO CHILD PROTECTION
CITIZEN REVIEW PANEL
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, vacancies currently exist on the Child Protection Citizen Review Panel, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Stacey Campbell be reappointed to said board
as a regular member; that James Upward be reassigned to said board from an alternate member
to a regular member, to replace James Whiting; that Susan Brucker be reassigned to said board
from an alternate member to a regular member,to replace Jeremy Casillas;and that John Cordova
be appointed to said board as an alternate member, to replace James Upward, and
WHEREAS,the Board deems it advisable to reappoint Stacey Campbell to said board,with
a term to expire March 4, 2011; to reassign James Upward to said board, with a term to expire
March 4, 2010; to reassign Susan Brucker to said board, with a term to expire March 4, 2009; and
to appoint John Cordova to said board, with a term to expire March 4, 2011.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that Stacey Campbell be, and hereby is, reappointed; that James Upward and
Susan Brucker be, and hereby are, reassigned; and that John Cordova be, and hereby is,
appointed to the Child Protection Citizen Review Panel, with terms to expire March 4, 2011,
March 4, 2010, March 4, 2009, and March 4, 2011, respectively.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted by
the following vote on the 24th day of March, A.D., 2008.
