RE: ACTION OF BOARD CONCERNING WAIVER OF TEN-DAY WAITING PERIOD FOR
CONSIDERATION AND INVESTIGATION OF THE TAX NOTICES AND ENVELOPES BID
- TREASURER'S OFFICE
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Department of Purchasing has requested waiver of the ten-day waiting
period for Tax Notices and Envelopes for the Treasurer's Office, Bid Request No. B0800170, due
to time constraints, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners deems it advisable to waive the ten-day
waiting period for said bid.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that the ten-day waiting period for the Tax Notices and Envelopes for the
Treasurer's Office, Bid Request No. B0800170 be, and hereby is, waived.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the low bid from Myriad Systems, Inc., in
the amount of $17,005.00, be, and hereby is, accepted.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted by
the following vote on the 15th day of December, A.D., 2008.

After reviewing the bids for the Weld County Treasurer tax notice bid for the tax year 2008,we
respectfully request that we choose Myriad Systems Inc. as the lowest bidder and the bidder of choice.
We have provided a spreadsheet to compare pricing of the tax notice,two envelopes,two-sided letter and
programming for the printing and mailing of approximately 160,000 tax notices.
