A public hearing was conducted on March 5, 2008, at 2:00 p.m., with the following present: Commissioner William H. Jerke, Chair Commissioner Robert D. Masden, Pro-Tem Commissioner William F. Garcia Commissioner David E. Long Commissioner Douglas Rademacher Also present: Acting Clerk to the Board, Esther Gesick Assistant County Attorney, Cyndy Giauque Planning Department representative, Hannah Hippely Health Department representative, Lauren Light Public Works representative, Don Carroll The following business was transacted: I hereby certify that pursuant to a notice dated February 15, 2008,and duly published February 20, 2008, in the Fort Lupton Press, a public hearing was conducted to consider the request of Connell Resources, Inc., for a Site Specific Development Plan and Use by Special Review Permit#1606 for a Use Permitted as a Use by Right, Accessory Use, or Use by Special Review in the Commercial or Industrial Zone Districts(highway construction equipment maintenance and storage facility)in the A(Agricultural)Zone District. Cyndy Giauque,Assistant County Attorney, made this a matter of record. Hannah Hippely, Department of Planning Services, stated the applicant's representative has submitted a letter, marked Exhibit E, withdrawing the application. Commissioner Long moved to accept the request of Connell Resources, Inc., to withdraw the application for a Site Specific Development Plan and Use by Special Review Permit#1606 for a Use Permitted as a Use by Right, Accessory Use, or Use by Special Review in the Commercial or Industrial Zone Districts(highway construction equipment maintenance and storage facility)in the A(Agricultural)Zone District. The motion was seconded by Commissioner Masden, and it carried unanimously.
