RE: APPROVE ADDENDUM TO INTERGOVERNMENTAL AGREEMENT FOR
REPLACEMENT OF COUNTY BRIDGE NO.13/54A OVER BIG THOMPSON RIVER AND
AUTHORIZE CHAIR TO SIGN - LARIMER COUNTY
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board has been presented with an Addendum to the Intergovernmental
Agreement for Replacement of County Bridge No. 13/54A over the Big Thompson River, between
the County of Weld, State of Colorado, by and through the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, on behalf of the Department of Public Works, and Larimer County, commencing
upon full execution, with further terms and conditions being as stated in said addendum, and
WHEREAS, after review, the Board deems it advisable to approve said addendum, a copy
of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that the Addendum to the Intergovernmental Agreement for Replacement of
County Bridge No. 13/54A over the Big Thompson River, between the County of Weld, State of
Colorado, by and through the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, on behalf of the
Department of Public Works, and Larimer County be, and hereby is, approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the Chair be, and hereby is, authorized to
sign said addendum.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted by
the following vote on the 9th day of July, A.D., 2008.

ADDENDUM TO THE INTERGOVERNMENTAL AGREEMENT
FOR REPLACEMENT OF WELD COUNTY BRIDGE NO. 13/54A
OVER THE BIG THOMPSON RIVER
This First Addendum to the Intergovernmental Agreement is hereby made and entered into this
g-44 day of .Icily ,2008,by and between the County of Larimer,State of Colorado,by and
through the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Larimer,Colorado whose address is
200 West Oak Street, Fort Collins, Colorado 80521, hereinafter referred to as "LARIMER
COUNTY", and the County of Weld, State of Colorado, by and through the Board of County
Commissioners of the County of Weld,Colorado whose address is P.O. Box 758, 915 10th Street,
Greeley, Colorado 80632, hereinafter referred to as "WELD COUNTY."
WHEREAS,the parties entered into an Intergovernmental Agreement on October 1,2007,
recorded in the Weld County Clerk and Recorder's office hereinafter called the"AGREEMENT";
and
WHEREAS, the total estimated project costs and the associated 80% Federal cost-share
funds being administered by CDOT have been increased.
NOW THEREFORE, it is agreed by the parties that the following changes are made to the
aforementioned AGREEMENT as follows:
Delete the last sentence of the paragraph labeled "1" and replace with the following:
The total estimated cost of the improvements is approximately$1,972,500.
Delete the last sentence of the paragraph labeled "7" and replace with the following:
The total project costs shall be divided as follows:
• Federal Funds (80%) = $1,578,000
• Larimer County Funds (10%) = $197,250
• Weld County Funds (10%)_$197,250
Total Funds (100%) = $1,972,500 -
All other terms and conditions set forth in the AGREEMENT shall remain the same.
