Landfill Site
Dear Drew:
In accordance with our conversation this morning, I am
notifying you by this letter of our intent to begin construc-
tion of the roadway along the North line of Section 29 , Town-
ship 1 North, Range 68 West . This 'roadway was proposed and
approved by the submission "Development Standards" by
" Colorado Landfill , Inc. as filed with Weld County.
I want to place on record in your office the fact that
there are a few changes from the approved plan . It is my
belief that these changes are an improvement . The road is
proposed to be 24 feet wide, instead of 20 feet as approved,
centered on the section line in the county' s 60 foot right-
of-way and is to have an 8" sub-base and 3" base as shown
on the approved plan. As part of the approval of the devel-
opment, Colorado Landfill , Inc . is required to begin the
landfill at the east side of the property rather than the
west side . As a result , the road construction will extend
on the county' s right-of-way only far enough to provide
access to the N.E . corner of Colorado Landfill ' s property.
• Dust control and grading maintenance on this new section
of roadway will be accomplished by Colorado Landfill , Inc .
during the period of use of the serviced property for landfill
purpose .
