Dear Mr. Ogle:
This letter is sent in response to the notice our firm received from Weld County regarding the upcoming
public hearing on this planning case, as well as our phone conversation earlier this week regarding
same. Alliance Investment Group- Fort Lupton, LLC, is the owner of approximately 240 acres located
immediately northeast of the property in question. Our property comprises the SE V, and the East 1/2 of
the SW V.of Section 11, Township 1 N, and Range 66W.
I understand from our phone conversation that the applicant proposes to construct a communications
tower for its sole and exclusive use and benefit that will reach approximately 110' in height. Obviously
the construction of this tower will have a visual impact to the surrounding properties. In the past, I have
• not objected to the construction of communication towers on lands adjacent to properties we own, as
they have typically been towers for cellular providers or other users that provide additional benefit to
the community.
In this case, it appears that the tower will be constructed for the sole benefit of the applicant. In order
to decide if I would like to make a formal opposition to this case, it would be very helpful if the County
could provide me with a visual representation of what this tower will look like and where it will be
constructed on the property. This could be in the form of a photograph or a drawing. If you are able
to provide this information, please send it to my attention at the address on this letterhead or via e-mail
