RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENT AND REAPPOINTMENT TO WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT
BOARD
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, vacancies currently exist on the Workforce Development Board, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Dennis Trego be appointed to said Board, as
a small business representative, to replace Nancy Fox, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Larry Burkhardt be reappointed to said board,
as the economic development—community based organization representative, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to appoint Dennis Trego to said board, with a
term to expire December 31, 2009, and to reappoint Larry Burkhardt, with a term to expire
December 31, 2010.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that Dennis Trego be appointed to said board, with a term to expire
December 31, 2009; and that Larry Burkhardt be reappointed to said board, with a term to expire
December 31, 2010.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted by
the following vote on the 2nd day of January, A.D., 2008.
