Subject: Public Records Request—Donal Schwalm's property
Dear Ms.Alderman:
Pursuant to your request dated January 18, 2008 and received by this office on March 4, 2008, I am
writing to confirm that the Department of Planning Services has two land use case files for the referenced
property. The first file is for Recorded Exemption 4633 for Lisa Fry and Donal Schwalm; the second file is use
for a Site Specific Development Plan and Special Use Permit for Wholesale Used Vehicles. The Board of
County Commissioners, Clerk to the Board is the holder of the original case file for this land use
application, and subsequent documents approved by the Board of County Commissioners by resolution.
Given that two Planning Case Files exist for this property, the Department of Planning Services has
arranged for all documents associated with this case be made available for review at the Clerk to the
Board's office located in the Centennial Center Complex, third floor. Situs address 915 Tenth Street,
Greeley, Colorado. The telephone number for the Clerk's office is 970 356-4000 x 4226.
Should documents be requested, the appropriate cost associated with the document duplication will be
requested prior to providing the photocopies and paper plats. Photocopies are twenty-five(25)cents each
page and plats are ten (10)dollars each sheet.

To Whom It May Concern:
The purpose of this letter is to request information which the Weld County Building
Department has in its files or on record regarding the above-referenced property. The subject
property is located in a portion of Section 6, Township 4 North, range 67 West. There is also
an oil well operated by Noble Energy on the subject property.
We would like information relative to the water wells, septic systems, solid waste landfills,
hazardous waste disposal facilities, hazardous waste storage facilities, stormwater
management or underground storage tank activities which the Weld County Building
Department has on file or in its records. We are particularly interested in any information
you have regarding emergency response activities, reported spills, and regulated waste
disposal activities which may have occurred at or around the sites. We hope to receive a
response from the Weld County Building Department within the next two (2) weeks. If the
proposed deadline poses a problem, please notify us immediately.
