High Plains Pipeline
Construction and FERC Hotline Notification
Dear Landowner:
Beginning April 15, 2008, Colorado Interstate Gas Company will begin construction
activities on the High Plains Pipeline. Construction will begin at the Company's Cheyenne
Compressor Station located west of State Highway 85 near the Colorado / Wyoming border and
will continue south. Colorado Interstate Gas Company's contractor, Gregory and Cook will
deploy a boring crew ahead of pipeline construction to bore county roads, highways, rail roads
and irrigation canals. Gregory and Cook will comply with all landowner stipulations as
landowners have previously discussed with Colorado Interstate Gas Company's Land Agents
during right of way acquisition.
Any questions, issues, or concerns relating to survey, fencing, construction, or
reclamation procedures on your property should be addressed immediately to Colorado
Interstate Gas Company Land Agents listed below. You should receive a response from the
Land Agents within 48 hours.
In addition, since this project will be constructed under guidelines from the Federal
Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC), Colorado Interstate Gas Company wishes to advise you
that if your concerns are not addressed by Colorado Interstate Gas Company in a timely manner,
or wish to note a protest with the FERC; you can contact the FERC by phone, letter or e-mail at
