RE: APPROVE ACCEPTANCE OF DEED OF DEDICATION FOR RIGHT-OF-WAY ON
COUNTY ROAD 47.5 AND AUTHORIZE CHAIR TO SIGN - WILLIAM AND LENNA
JOHNSON
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board has been presented with a Deed of Dedication to the County of
Weld, State of Colorado, by and through the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, on
behalf of the Department of Public Works, from William and Lenna Johnson, 16050 County
Road 47.5, La Salle, Colorado 80645, with terms and conditions being as stated in said Deed of
Dedication, and
WHEREAS, after review, the Board deems it advisable to accept said Deed of Dedication,
a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that the Deed of Dedication to the County of Weld, State of Colorado, by and
through the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,on behalf of the Department of Public
Works, from William and Lenna Johnson, be, and hereby is, accepted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the Chair be, and hereby is, authorized to
sign said Deed of Dedication.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted by
the following vote on the 2nd day of April, A.D., 2008.

DEED OF DEDICATION
KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS that William L. Johnson and Lenna Kaye
Johnson, whose address is 16050 County Road#47.5, La Salle, Colorado 80645, being all of the
owner(s) of certain property in Weld County, Colorado, which is described in the attached
Exhibit"A", do hereby dedicate forever said property as parts of a public highway,pursuant to
Colorado Revised Statute 43-2-201(1)(a), free and clear of all liens and encumbrances, except
existing easements, and warrants title to the same.
EXCEPT RESERVING UNTO OWNERS the mineral estate under the Right of Way,
including oil, gas and any and all water rights currently attached or associated with the Right of
Way.

A strip of land Thirty feet (30.00') in width and being part of the Southwest Quarter of the
Southeast Quarter(SW1/4 SE1/4) of Section Twelve (12), Township Three North (T.3N.),
Range Sixty-five West (R.65W.) of the Sixth Principal Meridian(6th P.M.), County of Weld,
State of Colorado and being more particularly described as follows:
BEGINNING at the South Quarter Corner of said Section 12 and assuming the South line of the
Southeast Quarter(SE1/4) of said Section 12 as bearing North 89°11'33" East, being a Grid
Bearing of the Colorado State Plane Coordinate System,North Zone,North American Datum
1983/92, a distance of 2553.37 feet with all other bearings contained herein relative thereto.
