Long, Chair Board of Weld County Commissioners 915 10th Street P.O. Box 758 Greeley, Colorado 80632 Re: Monitoring Well BH-842-11CB Dear Chairman Long: This letter serves to inform you about our activities regarding the subject monitoring well, to introduce our new Project Manager and to offer you the opportunity to obtain additional information about our Centennial Project proposed for western Weld County. As noted in your December 17, 2007 letter to me and Michael Beshore, Monitoring well BH-842-11CB, located approximately 300 feet west of WCR 23, required modification for safety reasons. Mr. Beshore communicated with the Public Works' staff and promptly erected reflectors and reflective highway barriers pending completion of the modification of the well which would reduce it in height so it is level with the ground. The modification has been completed and the Public Works' staff has been notified. I trust the corrective action is satisfactory and meets the requirements of Weld County. Please be assured that it is Powertech's policy to maintain full compliance with all federal, state and county requirements. Any future monitoring wells will meet the specifications described in your letter. Powertech has established an office in Wellington, Colorado due to its close proximity to the project site and, regretfully, because there was no available office space in Nunn. Mr. Terence (Terry) Walsh has joined the company in the position of Project Manager and, along with Mike Beshore, will be officially stationed in the Wellington office. Terry will be spending time in our Greenwood Village office as well. I appreciate the opportunities we have had to meet with Mr. Honn and the Planning and Zoning staff and believe the periodic updates on the progress of the project will be / 'i'beneficial for the staff, the Weld County //n// /Board of Commissioners and Powertech. However, if at all possible, I would like to meet with you, at your convenience, to provide additional information regarding our Centennial Project. Powertech looks forward to being a successful business entity in Weld County and a contributor to the good works being undertaken by the Weld County Board of Commissioners and the business community in Weld County.
