RE: ACTION OF THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS REGARDING VIOLATION
ZCV#0800114 AGAINST DARRELL AND SHARON PETTIJOHN FOR VIOLATION OF
THE WELD COUNTY CODE
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, Darrell and Sharon Pettijohn, ZCV#0800114, are allegedly in violation of the
Weld County Code, and
WHEREAS, despite efforts by the Planning staff to resolve said matter, the violation has
not been corrected, and
WHEREAS, on the 14th day of October, 2008, a public hearing was held before the Board
of County Commissioners for the purpose of hearing testimony relating to said violation, and
WHEREAS, Darrell and Sharon Pettijohn, property owners, were present at said hearing,
and
WHEREAS,the Board deems it advisable to continue said matter until November 18, 2008,
to allow adequate time for staff to contact the complainant to address all the issues involving this
case.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that ZCV#0800114 be, and hereby is, continued until November 18, 2008, to
allow adequate time for staff to contact the complainant to address all the issues involving this
case.

The above and foregoing Resolution was,on motion duly made and seconded, adopted by
the following vote on the 14th day of October, A.D., 2008.
