Honorable Sirs/Madams:
I have been informed that the District Court for Weld County has decided to deny our
motion for injunctive relief. Please be advised that CEC has decided to voluntarily dismiss its
complaint.
We are disappointed at the events of the last month, in particular, with the Board's
decision to award the contract at issue to ICCS. We truly believe that we were the most
responsible bidder and would have been the most effective provider achieving the best results for
the inmates and the County of Weld.
As you are aware, we will cease providing services on June 30 and our staff has been
working in conjunction with the County on a safe and efficient transition plan. We wish you the
best of luck and success with the continuation of the program.
