WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and WHEREAS, a trash removal agreement between Weld County and Brantner Trash Service, Inc. has been presented to the Board of County Commissioners for approval , and WHEREAS, the term of said agreement shall be from January 1 , 1981 through December 31 , 1981, and WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners, after studying said agreement, deems it advisable to approve the same. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Com- missioners of Weld County, Colorado that the trash removal agree- ment between Weld County and Brantner Trash Service, Inc. be, and hereby is, approved. M r t n / f C �'. <``' 4 (/ -2'%7 %&., "<r7/4,, June K Steinmark 810329 C. �` l , " " DATE PRESENTED: FEBRUARY 4 , 1981 TRASH REMOVAL AGREEMENT THIS AGREEMENT made this 4th day of _ February 1981 by and between the BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS, WELD COUNTY, COLORADO, hereinafter referred to as "Weld County, " and BRANTNER TRASH SERVICE, INC. , hereinafter referred to as "Contractor. " The term of this Agreement shall be from January 1, 1981 through December 31, 1981 and shall thereby terminate automatically and without notice from either party. The services to be provided by the Contractor are as speci- fied on the "Proposal" which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference. Notwithstanding any statement in the "Pro- posal" to the contrary, the total cost of these services to Weld County shall be $541. 00 per month, provided however, that Contrac- tor shall be allowed to charge the additional sum of $5. 00 per special pick up at the Exhibition Building or 4-H Building. Buildings and Grounds personnel will haul the trash five (5) times a week from the Centennial Center which includes the Jail, Courthouse and Complex to the location of the Contractor. Con- tractor must have one (1) two yard container and two (2) three yard containers_ available- at their location for this trash. The Exhibition and 4-H buildings, located in Island Grove Park, are rented out for special events when not in use by the County and occasionally will need special pick up. The Buildings and Grounds Department will notify Contractor when special pick up is needed. Weld County is to be billed once a month, said bills to be sent to Weld County Finance Office, 915 10th Street, P. O. Box 758, Greeley, Colorado 80632. The billing invoice is to be issued in triplicate, original and one copy to be retained by Weld County and one copy returned to Contractor with warrant. Billing invoice is to show name of department of building, loca- tion and amount charged for the department or building.
