HomeMy WebLinkAbout20080409.tiff RESOLUTION RE: APPROVE VACATION OF USE BY SPECIAL REVIEW PERMIT #913 - CHIKUMA FAMILY, LLC WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and WHEREAS, by Resolution dated August 15, 1990, the Board approved Site Specific Development Plan and Use by Special Review Permit#913 for a Recreational Facility (gun club and sporting clays course) in the A (Agricultural) Zone District for Mary Chikuma, do Richard Chikuma, on the following described real estate, to-wit: W1/2NW1/4/2N W 1/4 of Section 18,Township 1 North, Range 66 West; and the N1/2 of Section 13, Township 1 North, Range 67 West of the 6th P.M., Weld County, Colorado WHEREAS, the Board has received a request from the current owner, Chikuma Family, LLC, 3570 County Road 23, Fort Lupton, Colorado 80621, to vacate said Use by Special Review Permit#913, and WHEREAS,the Board of County Commissioners heard all of the testimony and statements of those present, studied the request of the applicant and the recommendations of the Department of Planning Services staff and all of the exhibits and evidence presented in this matter and, having been fully informed, deems it advisable to approve said vacation. The Chikuma Family LLC is requesting that USR-913 for a recreational facility (gun club and sporting clays course) be vacated since the use in no longer in operation.
