It is also the understanding of the Department of Planning Services that there are disposal lines running from individual RV pads into the sewage disposal tank. This in violation of development Standards#14 and#15 approved under USR- 1431. These development standards are as follows: Development Standard#14 states: "All campers and Recreation Vehicles (RV) using the facility must be fully self-contained in regards to water and sewage." Development Standard#15 states: "There shall be no disposal of sewage or any waste at this facility." Additionally the sewage disposal tank was installed without the approval of the Weld County Department of Public Health and Environment. It should be noted that an existing City of Greeley sewer line runs through this property. It is a requirement of the Weld County Department of Public Health and Environment that any proposed individual sewage disposal system (ISDS)within 400-feet of existing public sewer lines tie into that public sewer system. Your sewage disposal tank is considered an individual Sewage Disposal System and would require a connection to the City of Greeley sewer system. The Department of Planning Services has contacted Darrell Gesick with the City of Greeley Planning Department and he has informed us that the property owner would be required to annex into the City of Greeley as a provision of connecting to the Greeley sewer system. In order to correct this violation you will need to do one of the following: • Provide written evidence to the Department of Planning Services from the Department of Public Health and Environment that the sewage disposal tank and disposal lines (ISDS) have been properly abandoned. • • Provide written evidence to the Department of Planning Services that the property owner has formally applied for annexation into the City of Greeley. Either of the preceding shall be provided to the Department of Planning Services by no later than 12 P.M. on Friday, January 16th or you will be scheduled for a probable Development hearing eat Standore the Weld ards re th USR-1431.
