Range 66 W. and therefore do not care to assume the responsibility of reoeipting for the condemna tion award. At the same time, the money when paid should be paid to us to be credited on the .purchaser' s Contract. I suggest that you send me such form of receipt as you desire and I will then send it to the contract holder and ask him to receipt it, and return it to me, where- upon I will forward it to you and you can then send me the amount, which I will credit upon his contract. In regard to new road which you have recently caused to be laid out along the north line of this property which contains the N 1/2 N E 1/4- and the N 1/2 N W 104 of 28-4-68 : We have recent advicas from the owners of this property that you condemned this: land and allowed the sum of $25. for right-of-way and damages sus- tained. May we ask if your Honorable Board was aware of the fact . that the _damages inflicted_upen_ this property owner,_ to ,say nothing of the road right-of-way, were in excess of the amount which you allowed? It is a fact that the house and barn will have to be removed' and that eighty rods of fence will also have to be removed. We are informed that this will cost the owner in the neighborhood of $50. , and, as we have stated before, to :say nothing of the right- of-way. We respectfully submit to you the above with the request that you allow the additional sum of $25. damages sustained.
