RE: ACTION OF BOARD CONCERNING AMENDED USE BY SPECIAL REVIEW
PERMIT#1193 FOR A JUNKYARD AND SALVAGE YARD IN THE A(AGRICULTURAL)
ZONE DISTRICT - GARY NOVOTNY
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners held a public hearing on the 23rd day of
January, 2008, at the hour of 10:00 a.m. in the Chambers of the Board for the purpose of hearing
the application of Gary Novotny, 39592 County Road 18, Roggen, Colorado 80652, for a Site
Specific Development Plan and Amended Use by Special Review Permit#1193 for a junkyard and
salvage yard in the A (Agricultural) Zone District on the following described real estate, to-wit:
NW1/4 NE1/4 of Section 27, Township 2 North,
Range 62 West of the 6th P.M., Weld County,
Colorado
WHEREAS, at said hearing the Board deemed it advisable to continue said matter to allow
Gary Novotny adequate time to clear the site pursuant to the terms of a Sales Agreement for the
property, and
WHEREAS, the Board heard all of the testimony and statements of those present and
reviewed the request of the applicant and, having been fully informed, finds that this request be
approved and the matter should be continued to May 21, 2008, at 10:00 a.m.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that the abovementioned matter be, and hereby is, continued to May 21, 2008,
at 10:00 a.m.
