RE: ACTION OF THE BOARD CONCERNING PETITION FOR ABATEMENT OR REFUND OF
TAXES - GOLDEN ALUMINUM, INC.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board has been presented with a Petition for Abatement or Refund of
Taxes for Golden Aluminum, Inc., and
WHEREAS, a hearing before the Board was held on the 3rd day of November, 2008, at
which time the Board deemed it advisable to continue said matter one week to allow Golden
Aluminum, Inc. adequate time to discuss the matter with staff.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that the abovementioned matter be, and hereby is, continued to
November 10, 2008, at 9:00 a.m.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted by
the following vote on the 3rd day of November, A.D., 2008.
