HomeMy WebLinkAbout840514.tiff RESOLUTION RE: GRANT MOBILE HOME PERMIT NO. 964 - LEONARD ROSKOP WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, on the 19th day of December, 1984 , considered the request of Leonard Roskop for a mobile home to be used as an accessory to a farm, and WHEREAS, said mobile home is to be occupied in an A-Agricultural Zone District on a parcel of land being more particularly described as follows : Part of the E?, Section 19 , Township 1 North, Range 65 West of the 6th P.M. , Weld County, Colorado WHEREAS , the Board of County Commissioners , having heard the testimony, finds that said request should be granted subject to the following conditions : 1) the applicant shall apply for a building permit for the mobile home within thirty days from the date of approval by the Board of County Commissioners; 2) a septic permit shall be obtained and the site shall meet percolation test requirements prior to the issuance of a building permit; and 3) prior to the issuance of a building permit, the owner shall submit evidence that the well is supplying water in such a manner as to be adequate in quality, quantity and dependability for the proposed use. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that the request of Leonard Roskop for permission to place a mobile home to be used as an accessory to a farm on the above described parcel of land, which was found to be in compliance with Section 43 of the Weld County Zoning Ordinance be, and hereby is , granted subject to the hereinabove listed conditions. Zoning Permit for a Mobile Home number 849 was staff issued for the first mobile home on this site as an accessory to farm on Juse 28, 1983. The Department of Planning Services has not received any objections to this request. The Department of Planning Services staff recommendation for approval is conditional upon: 1. Weld County Individual Sewage Disposal System Regulations do not allow for any additions, as the system was not over- sized or planned for possible additions. Roskop, is now 65 years of age and requires assistance in the running of his farm. I have moved a trailer onto an existing space on his farm in order to assist him. It would be inpractical to live at a greater distance since we both must utilize available time to do farm work , and travel time would interfere with this. Also, livestock emergencies always seem to occur in the night and my father's eyesight has deteriorated to such an extent he can no longer see adequately in the dark .
