Overview of the meeting:
Early in 2008, all departments updated HIPAA forms and reviewed
policies.
Each department discussed M drive data maintenance of information
and security.
ACS update:
Job level security was discussed with encryptions on computers and
backup tapes for departments.
Ambulance:
Updated wireless system
Reviewing industry medical data
Department audit reflected appropriate HIPAA standards.
Other:
Identity theft was discussed and the need to investigate the utilization
of thumb drives for information.
Training class asked for by departmental representatives. Class will
be held in Ft Collins on April 24, 2009 staff is invited to attend.
