RE: DECLARE CERTAIN EQUIPMENT AS SURPLUS PROPERTY, AUTHORIZE SALE OF
SAME TO COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT INSTITUTE HEAD START, AND AUTHORIZE
CHAIR TO SIGN ALL NECESSARY DOCUMENTS
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, State statute and the Weld County Code require that all items disposed of be
declared surplus by the Board of County Commissioners, and
WHEREAS, the County has determined that certain equipment, being more fully described in
Exhibit "A," which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, is no longer required for
County use, and
WHEREAS, the Board has been presented with two Bills of Sale between the County of
Weld, State of Colorado, by and through the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, and
Community Development Institute Head Start, 10065 East Harvard Avenue, Suite 700, Denver,
Colorado 80231, each for and in consideration of the sum of $1.00, for the purchase of said
equipment, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to declare said equipment as surplus and approve
said Bills of Sale.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that the abovementioned equipment be, and hereby is, declared surplus.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the Bills of Sale between the County of
Weld, State of Colorado, by and through the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, and
Community Development Institute Head Start for the purchase of said equipment, be, and hereby
are, approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the Chair be, and hereby is, authorized to
sign all necessary documents.

KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS, that the COUNTY OF WELD, a body
politic and corporate of the STATE OF COLORADO, of the first part, for and in consideration
of the sum of One Cent ($1.00), in hand paid by COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT INSTITUTE
HEAD START, a Colorado non-profit corporation, whose address is 10065 East Harvard
Avenue, Suite 700, Denver, Colorado 80231, of the second part, the receipt whereof is hereby
acknowledged, has bargained and sold, and by these presents does grant and convey, unto the
said party of the second part, its executors, administrators, successors or assigns, the following
property, goods and chattels, to wit:
One 1998 Ford Van, Vehicle Identification Number: 1FTNS24L9WHB19417.
TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the same unto the said party of the second part, its
executors, administrators, successors or assigns, forever.
