RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENT TO BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, vacancies currently exist on the Board of Adjustment, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Jerry Neff be reappointed to said board as a
Regular Member, with a term to expire July 31, 2012; that Bryant Gimlin be reappointed as an
Associate Member, with a term to expire July 31, 2012; that William Hansen be reassigned from
an Associate Member to an at -large Regular Member, to replace Anita Owens, with a term to
expire July 31, 2011; and that Jim Cosner be appointed as an Associate Member, to replace
William Hansen, with a term to expire July 31, 2012, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to reassign William Hansen, reappoint Jerry
Neff and Bryant Gimlin, and appoint Jim Cosner to said board, with terms to expire July 31,
2011, and July 31, 2012, respectively.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that Jerry Neff and Bryant Gimlin be, and hereby are, reappointed to the
Board of Adjustment, with terms to expire July 31, 2012; that William Hansen be, and hereby is,
reassigned from an Associate Member to an at -large Regular Member, with a term to expire
July 31, 2011; and that Jim Cosner be, and hereby is, appointed to said Board, with a term to
expire July 31, 2012.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 12th day of October, A.D., 2009.
