RE: APPROVE SERVICE EXPANSION REQUEST NO. 2009-02 FOR SUPPLEMENTAL
SERVICES AND AUTHORIZE CHAIR TO SIGN - ACS GOVERNMENT SYSTEMS, INC.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board has been presented with Service Expansion Request No. 2009-02
for Supplemental Services between the County of Weld, State of Colorado, by and through the
Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, and Affiliated Computer Services (ACS)
Government Systems, Inc., commencing March 1, 2009, with further terms and conditions being
as stated in said expansion request, and
WHEREAS, after review, the Board deems it advisable to approve said expansion request,
a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that Service Expansion Request No. 2009-02 for Supplemental Services
between the County of Weld, State of Colorado, by and through the Board of County
Commissioners of Weld County, and ACS Government Systems, Inc., be, and hereby is, approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the Chair be, and hereby is, authorized to
sign said expansion request.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted by
the following vote on the 9th day of March, A.D., 2009, nunc pro tunc March 1, 2009.

Date of Request: January 19, 2009
Related Agreement: Purchase of Service Agreement between Weld County and ACS Government
Systems, Inc. (ACS) dated February 6, 2008, as amended (the "Agreement")
All terms defined in the Agreement and its amendments shall have the same meaning ascribed to them
therein when used in this Service Expansion Request. Pursuant to Sections 1 and 12.1 of the Agreement,
Client hereby requests that ACS perform the additional services described below. The County may, from
time to time, require changes in the scope of the services of the Contractor to be performed herein
including, but not limited to, additional instructions, additional work, and the omission of work
previously ordered. Such changes, including any increases or decreases in the amount of the Contractor's
compensation, must be mutually agreed upon in writing by the County and the Contractor in accordance
with Section 1 of this Agreement.
Description of Services:
ACS will provide one additional GIS Technician. This position will replace the county position
currently reporting to the ACS GIS Coordinator.
Term:
This SER will be effective on March I, 2009, with charges prorated based on the actual start date
of the individual filling the position. The SER will be coterminous with the Agreement dated
February 6, 2008.
Payment:
ACS will invoice the Client the monthly sum of $6,528 beginning on March 1, 2009, for the
services specified in this SER. The additional monthly amount to be paid by the Client to ACS
under this SER will be subject to the general payment terms included in the Agreement, including
the annual increases which will be applied each year effective on January 1.
