Home My WebLink About790723.tiff RESOLUTION RE: APPROVAL OF CONSERVATION FUND EXPENDITURES TO THE TOWN OF PIERCE, COLORADO. WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to Colorado Statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and WHEREAS, following the submission of an application by the Town of Pierce for assistance in a project known as park improvement in the Town of Pierce, Weld County has extended to the Town of Pierce a grant from Conservation Trust Funds in the amount of THREE THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($3,500.00) , and WHEREAS, after receiving three bids, the Town of Pierce has informed the Board of County Commissioners that it has accepted the low bid of ONE THOUSAND ONE HUNDRED AND TEN DOLLARS ($1 ,110.00) from Wards for a portion of the project, and WHEREAS, the terms agreed upon are as follows: A. Following completion of the project, the Town of Pierce must report to Weld County it's acceptance of the project from it's contractor. B. This report shall include an accounting of actual expenses for the project and request for reimbursement of a specific dollar amount. C. Upon receipt of this report and request for reimbursement, the County shall determine the amount of reimbursement and will make a single payment to the Town of Pierce, and WHEREAS, it has been further agreed that Weld County will reimburse the Town of Pierce during the calendar year of 1979. It is therefore understood and agreed that the project shall be completed and the request for reimburse- ment forwarded no later than December 1 , 1979, and WHEREAS, upon consideration of the aforementioned request from the Town of Pierce, the Board of County Commissioners deems it advisable and in the best interest of Weld County to approve the first claim in the amount of ONE THOUSAND ONE HUNDRED AND TEN DOLLARS ($1 ,110.00) to the Town of Pierce through said Conservation Trust Funds, and all future claims in conjunction with this project shall be made in accordance with the above terms specified. 79072J NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners that said Board does hereby approve the Conservation Trust Fund expenditures to the Town of Pierce, Weld County, Colorado, as more fully set forth above.
