RE: RELINQUISHMENT OF WELD COUNTY HEAD START GRANT AND MIGRANT AND
SEASONAL HEAD START GRANT AND AUTHORIZE CHAIR TO SIGN AND
NECESSARY DOCUMENTS
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board desires to relinquish the Weld County Head Start Grant, effective
December 31, 2009, and
WHEREAS, the Board also desires to relinquish the Weld County Migrant and Seasonal
Head Start Grant, effective December 31, 2009, and
WHEREAS, this Corrected Resolution is intended to correct the Board's first action on
the matter reflected in Resolution #2009-2908, dated November 4, 2009.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that Weld County Head Start Grant be, and hereby is, relinquished,
effective December 31, 2009.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the Weld County Migrant and Seasonal
Head Start Grant be, and hereby is, relinquished, effective December 31, 2009.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the Chair be, and hereby is, authorized
to sign any documents necessary to effectuate said relinquishments.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 16th day of November, A.D., 2009.
