A public hearing was conducted on August 19, 2009, at 10:00 a.m., with the following present:
Commissioner William F. Garcia, Chair
Commissioner Douglas Rademacher, Pro-Tem - EXCUSED
Commissioner Sean P. Conway - EXCUSED
Commissioner Barbara Kirkmeyer
Commissioner David E. Long
Also present:

Planning Department representative, Chris Gathman
The following business was transacted:
I hereby certify that pursuant to a notice dated July 13, 2009, and duly published July 16, 2009,
in the Windsor Beacon, a public hearing was conducted to consider the request of The Highland
Ditch Company for a Site Specific Development Plan and Use by Special Review Permit #1683
for an Expansion of a Non -Conforming Use (ski club) in the A (Agricultural) Zone District. Bruce
Barker, County Attorney, made this a matter of record.
Chris Gathman, Department of Planning Services, advised the Board that the applicant
requested, and was granted, an indefinite continuance of the matter, in order to resolve legal
matters, at the Planning Commission hearing on August 4, 2009, therefore, it is recommended
that the matter be referred back to staff.
No public testimony was offered concerning this matter.
Commissioner Long moved to refer the request of The Highland Ditch Company for a Site
Specific Development Plan and Use by Special Review Permit #1683 for an Expansion of a
Non -Conforming Use (ski club) in the A (Agricultural) Zone District, back to the Department of
Planning Services. The motion was seconded by Commissioner Kirkmeyer, and it carried
unanimously. There being no further discussion, the hearing was completed at 10:00 a.m.
