HomeMy WebLinkAbout20090423.tiffRESOLUTION RE: APPROVE RESCINDING RESOLUTION #2009-0294, DATED FEBRUARY 4, 2009, FOR DECLARING CERTAIN EQUIPMENT AS SURPLUS PROPERTY AND AUTHORIZING THE DONATION OF SAME TO TOWN OF WINDSOR WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and WHEREAS, by Resolution #2009-0294, dated February 4, 2009, the Board declared certain equipment as surplus property (2006 Thomas 16 passenger bus, Item #15062022) and authorized the donation of same to the Town of Windsor, and WHEREAS, after review, the Board deems it advisable to rescind Resolution #2009-0294, dated February 4, 2009, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that Resolution #2009-0294, dated February 4, 2009, declaring certain equipment as surplus property (2006 Thomas 16 passenger bus, Item #15062022) and authorizing the donation of same to the Town of Windsor, be, and hereby is, rescinded. The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 11th day of February, A.D., 2009. ATTEST: Weld County Clerk to the Boar BY. The only vehicle that was low enough mileage and in good condition was a bus that would require a CDL, which is not what we want to pursue. So, thanks for the offer, but we will decline based on the choices of vehicles available. As far as the WJM proposal, I am waiting to get some timing from David Averill on other grants. We will then need to work backwards for an IGA prior to applying for grants. I'll keep you posted. Melissa M. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Bo f -County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that the abovementioned equipment be, and here y is, declared surplus. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the cjtnation of said equipment to the Town of Windsor be, and hereby is, approved. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that any desired Iterations to the donated vehicle will be the responsibility of the Town of Windsor and shall of be completed by Weld County. 2009-0294 P00017 Hello
