unincorporated area of Weld County, Colorado:

CHANGE OF ZONING / REZONING QUESTIONNAIRE
How is the proposed rezoning consistent with the policies of the Weld County Code,
Chapter 22? If the proposed rezoning is not consistent with the Comprehensive Plan,
explain how the proposed rezoning will correct what the applicant perceives as faulty
zoning, or how the proposed rezoning will fit with what the applicant perceives as the
changing conditions in the area.
"Agriculture will be supported and will continue to be as a mainstay of the county" We
are rezoning to Agricultural and Weld supports agriculture.
2. How will the uses allowed by the proposed rezoning be compatible with the
surrounding land uses? Include a description of existing land uses for all properties
adjacent to the subject property.
Boulder County Open space farm land to the west, small ranch on the south, residential
property to the north that is in the process of changing their zoning to AG. This is
basically a rural area with farm animals and farm related land uses.
3. Will the property use a septic system or public sewer facilities?

Water is supplied by Longs Peak Water, Fire protection is provided by Mountain View
Rural Fire
5. Does the property have soils with moderate or severe limitations for construction? If
yes, the applicant shall submit information which demonstrated that the limitations
can be overcome.

6. Is the road and / or highway facility providing access to the property (ies) adequate
to meet the requirements of the proposed zone district? If not, the applicant shall
supply information demonstrating the willingness and financial capability to
upgrade the road and highway facilities.
Yes, County Road #1 is a paved , two lane county road that services our site.

• The Sheriff's office has no objections
• DOT has no objection
• Town of Mead is not in the planning area of our property
• Zoning compliance has confirmed that there are no active
violations
• City of Longmont: We have read the statement made by the
City of Longmont and we agree to their terms regarding Union
Reservoir and agree not to install new septic systems
• We have spoken to LuAnn Penfold at Mountain View Fire
District and we agree to comply.
