Dear Weld County Department of Planning Services,
We are submitting an application for a 40 dog boarding kennel. We have several show
dogs of our own and also have dogs in on occasion for boarding purposes. We are a very
small boarding operation with very minimal traffic and public disturbance .We are
hoping to be able to continue this small home business we have enjoyed raising and
showing Labrador retrievers for 15 years . We run a very clean up standing place; we are
licensed with the state, and thought we were in compliance with the county until we were
contacted by letter from the county stating other wise. We contacted the county 9 years
ago when we moved here, and were told we could have 16 domestic animals on our 20
acres, we did not know that in that number we had to have half dogs and half cats . Thank
you for your consideration in this special review permit
Regards
Wade and Shannon Lutz {
